This experiment tests the ability of a participant to recall as many words from a series of words that are intially presented in rapid succession. The participant will then have to manually type the words that they recall. This is repeated across 16 different groupings of words.
In this experiment a sequence of 16 words displays followed by a recall prompt. The participant is instructed to type in as many words as they were able to recall, pressing Enter after each word. The participant is instructed to leave the space blank and press Enter to continue once they cannot remember any more words from the list of 16. There are 256 total words in the experiment that the participant is trying to recall from each of the groupings of 16 words.
