This article applies to:
E-Prime requires Administrator permissions for installation of the Prerequisites and the E-Prime Suite.
NOTE: A Standard Windows account has the permissions below enabled by default. If these are blocked by your IT department, please consult them directly.
Under normal use, E-Prime requires Read/Write access to the following:
- AppData folder (e.g., C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\)
- ProgramData folder (e.g., C:\ProgramData\Pst\E-Prime\)
- Any folder the experiments are saved to and run from (e.g., My Documents, Desktop, etc.).
E-Prime requires Read access to the following:
- Applications located in the Program Files folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\PST).
Lastly, E-Prime requires access to port 1947 for sending and receiving UPD and TCP packets to communicate with the hardware key.
