E-Prime 2.0 introduced it's own more efficient video renderer. The E-Prime Video Renderer offers increased compatibility and reduce the amount of PreRelease time required to load media content. Previously, E-Prime used Microsoft's Video Mixing Renderer when rendering video content in E-Prime.
To enable the E-Prime Video Renderer, use the following script within an InLine object placed in the SessionProc procedure:
c.SetAttrib "Movie.VideoRenderer", "2"
The video renderer being used can be verified by the VideoLoadReport XML file generated during an experiment run. Additionally, the Video Renderer can be changed in Codec Config by performing the following:
- Open Codec Config.
- Navigate to the Tools Menu.
- Select Options.
- Change the value in the Video Renderer field.
