E-Prime 2.0 Professionalintroduces the ability to customize the default properties of objects when they are added to the experiment from the Toolbox.Selecting an object and then right clicking in the Toolbox area reveals a Toolbox Defaults…option for E-Prime 2.0 Professional users.
The properties associated with the selected object appear, and their default values can be modified and saved. The properties for a TextDisplay object are shown below. After the properties are modified, any new object that is created will have the user-modified default values. (The Toolbox Defaults do not affect objects currently in the experiment, but is only for objects newly created.) Customizing the Toolbox setting in a file that is saved to the E-Studio Template folder can provide benefit for labs that prefer different configuration options than those provided by system default in E-Studio.
Additional options for reset all of the objects to defaults and ability to import the default settings from another experiment are also available.
