Help (E-Studio)
The E-Studio application Help system provides multiple resources for assistance during experiment design and testing.
Hovering over an object will display a description of the purpose of the object, or a summary of the properties associated with the object.
In addition, the Help menu within E-Studio provides a thorough listing of resources that may be referenced when learning to use E-Prime, when designing new experiments, or when debugging or troubleshooting errors. Be sure to register your E-Prime system via Register Product… to receive full access to technical support.
Element Description E-Prime Command Reference Launches the E-Prime Command Reference (ECR) within a web browser. The ECR Welcome page lists Top Topics frequently referenced by E-Prime technical support based on common user requests, a tour of Using E-Basic Help, a listing of Commands by Type, and a visual representation of the hierarchical organization of E-Objects within E-Prime. This last element serves to make clear the objects that exist in E-Basic, and the relationship between them. Welcome to E-Prime… Launches the E-Prime product website providing links to E-Prime information and resources, such as Product Service and Support, an Experiment Library of sample experiments, a complete Knowledge Base, Online Documentation, and the E-Prime User Forum. Getting Started Guide… Displays the E-Prime Getting Started Guide tutorial, introducing the applications within the E-Prime suite, and a variety of methods to accomplish your design creation, testing, data collection, and analysis. Documentation… Launches the PST Product Service and Support site in a web browser. Online product documentation is available under the Documentation Articles heading. Online Resources Launches the PST Product Service and Support site in a web browser to provide access to resources, including PST Product Service and Support, a listing of Your Registered Products, Downloads, Knowledge Base Articles, Documentation Articles, and the E-Prime Community user forum. User Forum… Launches the Community page of the PST Product Service and Support site, providing access to the User Forum of users helping users with E-Prime and other PST products. Register Product… Launches the PST Product Service and Support site in a web browser, allowing registration of your product. Note, to register your product, you must log in via the Sign in link. Technical Support… Launches the PST Product Service and Support site in a web browser. Log in to Product Service and Support via the Sign in link. E-Prime Timing… Launches the E-Prime Timing Knowledge Base article, detailing the tests used to verify E-Prime timing accuracy. About E-Studio… Displays the About E-Studio dialog, reporting the installed version of E-Prime and the E-Studio application, as well as product licensing information, including the product Serial Number.
