The Sternberg Working Memory Task studies how participants store and retrieve items from short-term memory.
In this task, participants are asked to memorize letters and ignore others. Then, a list of letters is presented to participants that contains a mix of primed letters and distractor letters. Participants have to indicate if the letter was one they were told to memorize.
NOTE: This is structured to be easily integrated with EEG or fMRI devices with only minor changes necessary.
