When attempting to look back into an attribute's history, the proper syntax is to use [attrib:index].
When index is positive, the value looked up is in the future selections.
When the index is negative, previous values are retrieved.
In E-Prime 1.0, specifying negative history value for an attribute reference [attrib:-1] always results in "History out of bounds" error.
This issue is due to a result of an internal coding error and has been corrected in E-Prime 1.1 (Build 188.8.131.52 and later).
NOTE: Specifying a value for the index that is too large will continue to throw the "History out of bounds" error as expected.
Upgrade your system to E-Prime 1.1. (Build 184.108.40.206 or later)
