The filter dialogs in E-Merge (main toolbar and recursive merge) offer a range of options for edat, emrg, edat2, and emrg2 file extensions.
The benefit of this is that it allows users to perform preliminary analysis on either their target or pilot data, create an emrg2 file and then use that file later in the full data set.
Please note that all merged files will conatain a record of the first time that they are merged for data security purposes.
