This feature implements all of the E-Prime file formats (*.es2, *.edat, *.emrg) to be able to read/write in UNICODE characters natively.
Since *.es files must be converted/upgraded to *.es2 files and only contained ANSI/MBCS characters, backwards compatability is not an issue.
E-Prime 1.x and 2.x *.edat files will work interchangably. The exception is that any character that is outside of the standard ASCII range will appear as '?' or non-descript characters when viewed in E-DataAid unless viewing them under a native operating system designed for the extended characters.
