This sample demonstrates the ability to create package files - reusable blocks of script that can be added to E-Prime experiments via the PackageCall object - in E-Prime 3.0. The package file in this sample can be used to automatically collect and display block performance statistics.
This sample demonstrates the use of user-created package files in E-Prime 3.0. Note also that the 'BlockStats' package file must be installed on your system and stored in a valid location as specified under the PackageFile Search Folders (i.e., available on the Package tab of the Tools > Options menu). If the package file cannot be found, ensure that it has been extracted from the ZIP file containing both the ES3 and EPK3 files. Also ensure that the folder the package file resides in has been added under the PackageFile Search Folders in Tools > Options.
This experiment is a basic lexical decision task. There are two blocks of 5 trials. At the end of each block, the statistics collected are logged and then displayed to the subject. The statistics are reset between blocks, so that the statistics displayed apply only to the block that was just completed.
