Ok, we have several users here that are on systems set up to login to domains. We're finding that with 2.0, when a new user logs in, they're having to reenter the serial number on the machine when they start eprime. I don't remember this ever being an issue when we were using 1.x. Is this likely to cause any problems besides the annoyance of entering the serial number again? (These are systems with real serial numbers and the hardware key, not the beta activation stuff for people trying from 1.x). Was this done intentionally, or is it a side effect of some other change?

This issue was recently brought to our attention and should be resolved by downloading the most recent version of E-Prime 2 from the web support site.  We apologize if the CD your received does not have this version.  If the problem persists, please ensure that each login can recursively read/write to the "common application data" folder which resides by default at  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data for Windows XP.

If this serial number prompt occurs each time the same user starts E-Studio, then please report back as that is not a known issue.
