I intend to run an experiment on a laptop having a widescreen display (1280 x 800 resolution, 16:10 format).

Having an E-prime version v.1.1 SP3, texts are actually displayed with a geometrical distorsion (texts are streched). I was wondering:

- is there a solution for displaying texts without distorsion using the whole screen?

Maybe with E-prime v.2.x (I would therefore need to upgrade my license). Is there a such widescreen managment?

Common choices such as 1024x768, 800x600, etc are available from the drop down.  To accomodate non-standard and future screen sizes, the author of the experiment has the ability to type any integer value into the Display boxes.  If the display adapter does not support the values chosen, a runtime error will occur.
