Hello,

I am trying to get my E-prime program to sync with another program on a different computer that will be logging physiological data. My question is whether it is possible to create some sort of code that will but an event marker in the program collecting the physiological data so that I will know exactly when each trial begins and ends? If so, do I need any sort of hardware to connect these computers? They are both on the same computer network if that helps.

Thanks for your help!

Hi tcampellone,

Please see the KB article "1318 - INFO: How do I notify external equipment at the exact time that an event occurs in E-Prime?" at http://www.pstnet.com/support/kb.asp?TopicID=1318. Please note that you could also use socket communication to accomplish this task.

Thanks,
Rich
