There are a number of ways to implement this, please provide the ideal abstract and that would be better able to offer the best advice.  Things to consider are a) does this happen at end of block/trial b) during block/trial c) does it happen based on an algorithm (after certain stimuli or time) d) can user invoke the pause...

in practical terms, i would like to be able to take a long, long time on two slides in the instructions before two different blocks.  (i need enough time to explain the idea of pseudo words to 7-year-olds.)  i tried to increase the duration to a very long time on these slides, but then it comes up with a runtime error and says something along the lines of 'overload'.

any advice would be welcomed.
