| There have been a number of posts to the forum indicating a freezing problem running videos. However, there are no posted answers. Did anyone ask the EPrime people to get a work around or at least understand why the program freezes to the point that you cannot get an error message and have to abandon the program? Also, has anyone learned anything more about the dump files that are created when playing a video? thanks, Cathy

creed (3/3/2010) There have been a number of posts to the forum indicating a freezing problem running videos. However, there are no posted answers. Did anyone ask the EPrime people to get a work around or at least understand why the program freezes to the point that you cannot get an error message and have to abandon the program?
Hmm. I can understand asking other users here if they have found out anything about E-Prime problems that goes beyond what PST tells them. But if you only want to know PST's own advice then why not ask PST Web Support yourself at http://support.pstnet.com/e%2Dprime/support/login.asp, rather than getting it filtered through third parties? Web Support strives to respond to all requests in 24-48 hours, so don't be shy there.
Also, has anyone learned anything more about the dump files that are created when playing a video?
This was asked and answered back in March 2009, and if you had used the Forum search feature with the term "dump" (which you use in your post) then you would have found it without any assistance. But I will spare you the trouble this time: Look at http://support.pstnet.com/forum/Topic2847-12-1.aspx. (In addition, you can also ask Web Support directly for this sort of thing, so once again, don't be shy there.)
