After upgrading E-Prime Pro from version 2.0.8.22 (which worked fine before) to 2.0.8.73, I get the following error when starting EStudio:

'An unexpected exception occurred while attempting to check the license'

The setup didn't report any errors. During the setup the green USB dongle was connected which I use for version 2. I also had an older green printer port dongle connected for version 1.2. Removing the older dongle didn't help. I also tried to uninstall E-Prime 2, update the HASP drivers (to version 5.75), and reinstall with only the USB dongle connected, but with the same license failure.

The bad thing is that, after uninstalling 2.0.8.73 and reinstalling 2.0.8.22, the problem is now also present in the version that I was using before . The dongle seems to works fine when using it with version 2.0.8.22 on another PC.

Does anybody has a clue for solving this issue?

PS. If I remember correctly, this dongle was upgraded before from E-Prime 1 to 2.
