Hi,
I am trying to use the Lumina Response Box 400B with e-prime; it looks like I'm doing something wrong. I am running Eprime 1.1.4.1 under Windows XP Pro, service pack 1.
When I press the response buttons, the Lumina interface lights turn on appropriately, so the response box is working. The serial port on my computer is working, too. I will test the cable from the Cedrus interface box to the laptop tomorrow. Assuming it's ok, and it seems to be, the only possiblity is my eprime setting.
I have the Cedrus box set to a baud rate of 19200, and have set the serial port on my laptop to the same. The serial port is set to the 8N1 protocol. I have added the SRBox object to my experiment, and have set that baud rate to 19200. But when I run the test from the Eprime website (in utilities.es), the response buttons have no effect. The experiment I am using doesn't work with the box, either. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

Please ignore the prior email in this thread. It turns out that our brand new cable was bad.
