Hello,
I have such a question: I am using Eprime and would like to run an EEG experiment. I am able to send EEG triggers through the parallel port. However, I would also like to use an external device which is cotrolled also through a parallel port (the device uses all 8 output pins). I have figured out that the only way to do it, is to intall a second parallel port. Does anyone know if Eprime will be able to address this second parallel port? And if so, what is its standard address? (the address of the first port is &H378).
I would be extremely grateful for help!

Of course E-Prime can address any number of installed parallel (i.e., lpt) ports, you just need to put the correct port address into the commands for each device. Typical lpt port addresses include &H378, &H278, and &H3BC, and if you did a Google search on "parallel port" you could probably find out this and more (I just pulled those addresses from my own old online notes). But your IT folk should be able to determine which ports are used on your particular machines.
