Can someone please enlighten me re; what feedback's "Pending" option is for?

I'm still trying to figure this one out. So help would still be gratefully received.
This was initially targeted for devices or scenarios where responses could carry over trials or not been received due to latency of the device. It has no capabilities through the typical GUI setup of the Feedback object. By turning "use script activation" off, you can set the ActiveState of the Feedback to "Pending" for this tab/state to appear when run.
