hi all, i'm a brand new user of eprime and have a few questions. the design of my experiment is simple, and it includes 2 tasks: a recall and a recognition.
for each item in recall, subjects get an open-ended question for which they type in a one-word answer. i'd like to collect the RT to the first letter of the word they type in (rather than RT to the entire response). is that a simple way to accomplish that? also, i also would like to collect confidence ratings for each question (i used [stimulus] for the question, and on the next screen i have the confidence rating. how do i make sure the confidence rating is associated with the previous question?)
for each item in the recognition task, subjects get a set of 4 choices, and i'm wondering how the task would be set up so that the choices are randomized.
