| Hi, I have had numerous problems with E-prime - devices errors etc and am at the stage where I am about to attempt unistalling & re-installing. I am using version 1.2 oftware supplied by the Open University. Will I cause further problems by doing this and does my laptop running XP need to be configured in a particular way i.e. are there any settings I need to ensure before attempting this? Thanks, Trevor

| I am sorry to hear that you are having configuration troubles and hope this can be remedy soon. To ensure successful installation, I would recommend the following. If you are unsure of how to perform these steps, you can remove E-Prime from the Add/Remove applet and reinstall. 1) Remove E-Prime from the Add/Remove control panel applet 2) Navigate to C:\Program Files\PST\E-Prime and either rename or remove the contents, if any 3) If installing from CD, copy the contents of the CD to a folder on your desktop, install from there. Sometimes reading from the CD causes issues. 4) Ensure you have admin or power user access to your machine/account. -Brandon
