I was going to generate the script of the last experiment version (I already did it several times before!) and as soon as I typed the generate icon the software crashed and the file disappeared completely.
I luckely found the most recent backup of what I was doing (that is a very good function!) but I'm still wondering how was it ppossible for the original file to disappear. This is scaring and I really hope it does not going to happen during the course of my experiment.
Regards,
Elia

| I just had the same thing happen to me. I lost many hours of work in the process. This is a very serious bug.

Got a similar problem, since I upgraded to 2.0 Build 2.0.1.60 from the previous one -- when I hit run/compile, it crashes, with a message like "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way."

| If you can find an .es file that consistently has this issue happen, please post it here or on a web support ticket. As some have mentioned, you can get a copy of the last successful save by going to the Tools...Options menu and restoring the backups. -Brandon

Hello everybody,
i recognized a few times that the software was crashing. There was no special action i did. Sometimes it happens and sometimes everything works fine. One example when it happens is, if i only change the order of ImageDisplay an Textdisplay in a procedure, but not every time i do this.
My actual version is 2.0.1.79.
Thanks

| This has happened to me several times when using version 1.x, when the program crashes the actual file is deleted. Fortunately I haven't experienced this again when using the Beta/ Release Candidate for version 2.
