I was wondering if text could be displayed on top of movies. I was working with the slide object and got a message which said that movies are always displayed on top of text or images. Is this accurate? Beyond slide objects, are there other ways of displaying text and movies simultaneously? Is it possible that this feature will be changed in later versions of Eprime 2?

Because of how movies are rendered in hardware on the video adapter and to ensure proper timing and performance, the ability to mix movie and static image or text stimuli will not be part of E-Prime 2.0.  Text and images will be able to be presented to the sides of the Movie stimuli.  The text would need to be included as part of the movie file to be placed on top.
