Hi there, I need some help in designing an experiment (in E-prime 1.2) that combines the presentation of sequential visual stimuli together with a dynamic random dot visual noise. In each trial, I would like to present 2 to 6 visual stimuli superimposed to the dynamic visual noise. I made a function to generate the random dot noise in a inline. That was simple, but I could not imagine how to present the visual stimuli while the noise is “blinking”. My questions are: is it possible to keep the visual noise dynamic while some visual stimuli are presented sequentialy? Does any one have a suggestion?
