| I've been using the evaluation version of E-Prime on my personal laptop to write and test various experiments prior to recreating them over on the university's actual experimenting computers. However, recently my laptop had an issue that required a reformat of the hard drive, so naturally I backed everything up before I restored the system. When I reinstalled the E-Prime evaluation, I found that I could no longer load my experiments from before the reformat. The message given is: "The file cannot be opened! The file attempting to be opened was created with an evaluation version of E-Studio. Experiment files created with the evaluation version can only be viewed on the machine where they were created." Obviously the machine is the same, but E-Prime doesn't seem to think so. Is there anything I can do to load my experiments or at least recover the scripts from them? I'd really prefer not to have to recreate them.

| It seems as though a serial number is required to enter the support thing. Because I'm using the evaluation version, I don't really have one of those.

| The intention of the evaluation version is for a limited trial run prior to purchasing a full system of E-Prime. I've passed your account information onto our sales department and they will contact you shortly. The e-mail you registered your forum account appears to be a temporary one so you can forward your permanent information to info@pstnet.com and they can assist with a sales quotation for your system and assist with converting your evaluation files. If you are already associated with the university lab you had mentioned, then I would encourage registering your account with their serial number. Thank you for supporting E-Prime. -Brandon
