We are trying to evaluate the latest version of E-Prime 2 Professional Network. License problems prevent us to run E-Prime. Therefor we are not too happy at the moment.

We have a number of Windows clients and a Redhat Enterprise server. The server should act as a license server. So far, clients don't see the key. Checking http://localhost:1947 shows an empty list of keys.

We found some drivers on the HASP manufacturer site, but that did not help so far. We have installed the following files on the Linux server:

* aksusbd-redhat-1.8.1-3.i386.rpm (HASP HL driver daemon)
* hasplm-redhat-8.30-1.i386.rpm (License manager)

How to set up a working linux license server, and how can we check where the problem is in case E-Prime starts telling that it runs illegal?

We are currently working on your request also in Web Support.

We have contacted the manufacture of the hardware key to determine the support for Linux and the Hardware Key.  Please note that while Aladdin offers Linux support for many of the HASP products, E-Prime 2.0 uses HASP SRM which currently only show drivers for Windows and MAC OS X.  It may be necessary to install the network key on a Windows or Macintosh machine until a Linux driver becomes available.

While PST current support of the Network key is for a separate Windows machine, we will make every effort to support other platforms to allow the network license to be seen by the client machines.
