Hi ya,

I have another problem for another experiment. When I try to run it, it says

runtime error: 0 x 00001b59

Unable to open port: 0 x 00000005

Error: 10051

I don't have that problem when I try to run the experiment without Net Station. So I assume it has to do with Adding Net Station to the experiment. Anybody has any clues on how to solve that?

Thanks very much

Hwan

1) What version of E-Prime are you using?
2) What version of NetStation are you using?
3) The error you reported means "device cannot open", when you map the line number it provides to the Full script, what device is it?  Socket?  Serial?  Display?
4) When you indicate that you are not having any errors until you add NetStation, to what do you mean by that?  For example, do you mean running PictureRT which has not NetStation package calls or do you mean running a NetStation enabled experiment, but w/o the NetStation equipment attached/enabled?

The futher information on the message you provided means "access is denied".  My hunch at this point is that there is an issue with opening the SRBOX (or whatever device the problem is coming from) on your machine.  Please provide some more info as above.  You may try turning off background apps using MSCONFIG to see if the problem persists.  http://www.pstnet.com/e-prime/support/kb.asp?TopicID=2621
