| Hi, I have installed EP_1_2_MINIMAL_1_2_1_847 to a master pc successfully using the dongle then created an image of the pc using Tivoli(rembo). However when I image a Lab the Eprime software states that "E-studio not installed properly, please run installation again. contact Tech support for more info". When i click OK, the software loads with minimal functionality. I notice on the lab pc that the serial code when viewed( on the "About" splash screen) is just random ascii not the correct code as shown on the master. Both the Admin profile and a test student account work fine on the master, but not even my admin account used for the install on the master, will work on a Lab pc, same error as above. A colleague has used Ghost 8 successfully. cheers

| Imaging and deployment options are not supported in E-Prime 1.x due to how the copy protection scheme and installation is implemented. There are no plans for adding this support for E-Prime 1.x. However, I would encourage that you create a web support ticket because there may be a way to assist your lab provided that your configuration is for single user systems and not a site license. E-Prime 2.0 Professional offers more flexibility for ghosting options for most license types that will permit an easier time to deploy and image in the manner you are talking about. The next build of EP2 is targeted this month to permit for a stand alone .msi file that can be used in deployment services such as SMS and GPO. Further enhancments are planned for network license that permit for customizations of the setup process so that avoid startup prompts such as registration info, welcome web page, copy samples, prompt for auto update, etc. Because there are a number of software services for performing imaging and deployment, we request that anyone that plans on doing this service please provide how they plan to do so. While we cannot offer a turn key solution for every type of topology, we are striving to find a consisent approach that can be applied to as many labs as possible. -Brandon
