Hello,

I would like to add a USB keypad as a response device. The only device options available are:

display
joystick
keyboard
mouse
parallel port
port
serial
sound
srbox

Is there any way to use a USB device?

Thanks,
Jason

If the USB keypad acts as a HID (human interface device) client like a mouse and keyboard do, then you can typically just use the Keyboard device.  If the USB keypad is a proprietary response pad, then you will likely have to contact the manufacture to determine the best way to have the device be recognized in E-Prime.

Because of the generality of USB and specifics typically needed by the driver or protocol of a device, there are no plans to introduce general USB communication in E-Prime at this time.

Thanks for the info. It turns out the keypad I was using doesn't work. I replaced it and EPrime recognizes the new one.
